Are Collapsible Boxes Considered EU Containers?

Collapsible boxes are not considered EU containers. Collapsible boxes are composed of a pallet, box body, and box lid, assembled by stacking sections of collapsible walls in rows. EU containers, on the other hand, are produced by copolymerizing high-performance engineering polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (PE), and then manufactured through injection molding. They are not the same product. Commonly known items such as storage cages, wire mesh containers, metal folding containers, plastic collapsible boxes, EU containers, and pallets all fall under the category of reusable packaging.

Packaging refers to the general term for containers, materials, and auxiliary items used according to certain technical methods to protect products during circulation, facilitate storage and transportation, and promote sales. It also refers to the operational activities of applying specific technical methods in the process of using such containers, materials, and auxiliary items to achieve the above purposes.
